From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and fast. We dropped in for happy hour and were seriously impressed by the great selection of wine and drink choices. ​As for the food? Outstanding. The fried fish, shrimp, and calamari combo was perfectly crisp and incredibly delicious. You can tell they take pride in what they serve, because absolutely everything was fresh and packed with flavor. ​Whether you're stopping by for a casual drink or a full seafood feast, this place delivers. We will definitely be back!

Food is delicious very fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately service is where it lacks. Waitress sits my table, we order appetizer and drinks. Waitress only brings one beer that was order and doesn’t bring the 3 cups of water also order until after appetizer was finished since I had to mention it. I had previously dinned at the bar and felt service was better opposed to table service. The waitress did end the service strong but unfortunately a bad start in my opinion.

I’ve been coming to The Fish House in Santa Barbara for years, and it never disappoints. One of my favorite little traditions is adding extra shrimp to my Caesar salad it’s always fresh, flavorful, and just hits the spot every time. The consistency here is what keeps me coming back. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and a team that always makes you feel welcome. It’s one of those places you can count on, whether you’re a local or just passing through. Highly recommend!

Came in with a group of six total on a Thursday evening with almost no one at the tables, we were greeted and taken to our table and brought our friends wine. At the time, the corkage fee is $25 per bottle. The waiter answered our questions about the specials and took our initial drink orders. We were served our initial appetizer of oysters which tasted delicious but we did have to ask which was which, initially we were promised two or three of each of 12 total but I guess they were out of some of the oysters so they were duplicated. We later asked what variety of oysters and the gentleman was able to tell us, I believe we had two Baja oysters maybe three. We then received our poke which was absolutely delicious, I could have three more it was that good. The ahi and avocado was fresh. We placed our mains orders and they basically came out while we were still working on the last of our appetizers. At this point I asked that maybe we have a adjacent table added to ours or a side table, with six people at a table for four at best it was getting extremely crowded with drinks, all of us had wine glasses and a white wine was ordered as well which moments later was spilled and knocked

First time in Santa Barbara and this spot was recommended to us—great call! The laid-back vibe and outdoor seating were perfect, and the busser was hustling like an absolute champ. Our server was a bit low-energy (maybe saving his personality for the dinner rush), but nothing that ruined the experience. The food was the real highlight: my fish sandwich was solid, my girlfriend’s fish tacos were amazing, and the crab cakes stole the show completely. Overall, a fun and tasty lunch date. We’d definitely come back just hoping the server brings a little more sunshine next time!
